Tony, IMHO WDC has essentially completed its "transition" to MR. The problem seems to be a lack of buyers. When a 6.4MB killer drive is selling for lunchmoney more than a 2MB standard unit, there's an inventory problem somewhere.

My guess is that once the channel starts absorbing these drives and the drive makers have settled their production problems, you'll see a shortage develop. Call it "overshoot".

In any case, SEG hit the dirt today, QNTM sent out bad news and WDC held up nicely. This may be the bottom.
