To All,
INTEL's TROUBLE!
According to the source of Reseller News, the total microprocessors of October, 1997 are 43%(three-months average are 43%) available(wait for sales). If I am right, most of the microprocessors are Intel's chips, especially Pentium IIs. We know AMD doesn't have demand problem, so the 43% has nothing to do with AMD's K6s. From the price cutting, aggressive discount for quantitave buyers, and percentage sales of Pentium IIs, the evidence is very clear that Intel's has P IIs inventories problem (like I said, "truck load
inventories."). I will keep track of November and December percentage
available to post here.

*Base=172 Responding resellers in October
*535 Respondents for three-month average

Best wishes

James
