I'm short at $46 1/2. This internet thing is a passing fad. People are going to start buying books again. And writing letters by hand. "Where do you want to go today?" Anywhere as long as it isn't in on-line hell.

You don't see many digital watches or lunar rovers anymore do you? And when you stop and think about it, there's very little difference between a watch and a computer, or for that matter, a lunar rover. Analog, man. Analog. And windmills. And you know what else? Horses. Not cars. Horses and wagons.

That's why I'm short.

Hanolin, I'm not misleading anyone. I don't do that. The Netscape deal was amended.

Here's what I posted:

Yahoo's deal with Netscape is based on circulation, and Yahoo's payments to Netscape have gone down.

Here's what Yahoo's latest 10Q says:

"Under the terms of the amended Co-Marketing agreement, the Company has fixed expenses in the form of advertising revenue guarantees of up to $18,500,000 over the next 18 months, subject in the second year to certain minimum levels of advertising impressions being reached on the GUIDE."
