Yes, I'm not sure why the GOP and FOx News Republicans are so against OWS. Both the Tea Party and OWS were grass roots efforts. The GOP tried to co-opt one but not the other. The Dems did the same thing.

What both parties are missing is that there is a GROUNDSWELL of discontent on both sides of the aisle. The party politicians think that this discontent can be harnessed and co-opted. However, the way I see it is that this discontent is AIMED at the politicians and will be their undoing. Their efforts at co-opting have largely backfired. The Tea Party unseated several GOP members already. I have no doubt OWS will unseat many Dems and probably some GOP members.

My greatest hope is that enough of these efforts swell up to unseat the MAJORITY of Congress and the White House and that a new breed of independent who doesn't care about partisan politics, but is focused on what's good for the long term of this country, rises to power.
