Haim-
The BEAR is hier (sic) to stay.
Here to stay? He hasn't even arrived yet- at the low of the recent downturn the DOW was down 13% from the peak, which hardly qualifies as a BEAR. Sheesh!

Larry

P.S. The DJA closed higher today than it was before the opening bell on Bloody Monday. The sky is falling, the sky is falling!

P.P.S. Heavens only knows how you Chicken Littles will react when the inevitable bear does actually arrive, but I suspect that comparisons with the 1930's will pale, relatively speaking.

Naw Haim,

The bear is just about to go back intoher lair (Bonnie, are you listening?). I see a strong, seasonal move up from here and possibly a strong move down to scare the pants off enough people to get the markets REALLY moving up again... and that sell-off may happen in early December 1997.

But the bear sleeps until then.

Wake up and smell the roses!

(gggggggg)

Regards and safe trading!

Bill
