>> By taxing the wealthy in this country at the rates that existed before Reagan took office.

All this does is brings EVERYONE down.

Very few of the rich are winners......most either inherited their wealth or cheated their way to the top.

That's the sour grapes philosophy of losers.

... this silly myth that in America you can get rich through hard work and preserverance. Read my lips.......its a myth. Through hard labor, you may be able to get to the middle class or even the upper middle class but its not likely you will ever become weatlhy.

Getting to middle class or upper middle class is a GOOD THING!! Only losers think it's a sham.

Ted, > Very few of the rich are winners......most either inherited their wealth or cheated their way to the top.

Did Warren Buffett inherit or cheat his way to the top?

Did Steve Jobs inherit or cheat his way to the top?

Did Oprah Winfrey inherit or cheat her way to the top?

Did the Clintons inherit or cheat their way to the top?

Did Barack Obama inherit or cheat his way to the top?

Finally, are YOU trying to inherit or cheat your way to the top?

Tenchusatsu

>> Very few of the rich are winners......most either inherited their wealth or cheated their way to the top.

This is a demonstrably false statement.

In the top twenty richest people in America, you have --

Buffett
Ellison
Koch (I)
Koch (I)
Walton (I)
Soros
Adelson
Walton (I)
Walton (I)
Walton (I)
Bloomberg
Bezos
Zuckerberg
Brin
Page
Paulson
Dell
Ballmer

Out of those 20, six inherited a substantial portion of their wealth, and I assume you would claim Koch's cheated their way to the top (in addition to inheriting wealth LOL).

Four of those six are poor Arkansans who got rich from a single, first generation inheritance from Sam Walton who created EVERY NICKEL of that wealth fairly and without ANY inheritance.

NONE, AFAIK, has ever been convicted of any crime. I doubt any of them is stupid. These people, for the most part, created their wealth by giving Americans jobs and creating economic productivity. Except for maybe Soros.

You are either ignorant, a liar, or both.
