Here's my experience and knowledge about the glamour of golf.....and those in my family including myself have the gift of natural ability.....here is the beauty and frustration of it: You take your mind off the troubles of the world for 18 holes as all you concentrate your mind on is only hitting that phucking little ball straight.....I suppose fishing is no different in the concept as it is truly a thinking mans sport as you overcome each obstacle to success with the proper analysis and decision making real time <g> LOL...the lessons in life are no different, I love it when a plan comes together.....you have to have a game plan and all the preparation for victory already worked out in your mind long before you make the first cast....it's all preparation for success and winning at anything....but, in fishing real time decision making is key to adjust to the conditions as they are constantly changing....unlike golf you have a flag showing you where the hole is, you have a layout of the course before hand, it's not going to change you don't need to be prepared with a backup plan a b or c.....so what if the wind picks up...... in fishing the wind is your friend.<g>
