TC corrected me on the FICA payments even though collecting it. However, the lack of a state income tax makes your argument of adding a federal tax burden on top of your high state sales tax as being somehow abusive or punitive a bit duplicitous. Many states have property, sales and income taxes.

To quote you, money is fungible so it doesn't matter from where it is taxed as long as you pay your fair share.
