Anyone at Datek:

You web site states:

From your "Brief overview" page..

>Currently, you can trade any New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Nasdaq,
>or American Stock Exchange(AMEX)stock. Datek Online expects to offer
>options trading in the fourth quarter of 1997.

And from your faq...

>Do you do option trading? No, but since everyone is desperate to buy
>those puts and calls, we are going to introduce it sometime in '98.

So, is it '97 or '98??

Mike

Jack, >>that demo on Web Street is great! Are they as good as the demo? I am using Netscape 4.04 and the Java stuff flies ( by comparison to 4.03).<<

I'll have to download 4.04, I'm using 4.03 now. Web St.'s page is slow by comparison to Datek, but very organized and easy to access all features. I'll let you know if 4.04 improves the speed for me.

I might add that the Datek web page screams compared to any brokerage page I've accessed. Web St.'s is only slow by comparison to Datek, it's fast compared to Fidelity Web Express, which is truly SLOW.
