Hi Windgoof -

I have been a member of a YAHOO Group that discusses and builds Excel spread sheets tailored for Stocks.

I have not done much in the last several months but am on an email list when there are updates made.

I am sure that many of these application would work on Google Spreadsheet but never really tried (or found the time) to test any.

Do you think Google has a similar Stock Market Group specific to their Google Docs/Spreadsheet?

I am no Excel Spreadsheet Guru but I know just enough to get by. I first learned about spreadsheets using VisiCalc, then Lotus 1-2-3. My designs are probably very inefficient based on what they are doing over on the Yahoo Groups board.

Google has a lot of powerful "look up" functions and they add more every few months.

FWIW, I use the Schwab Edge trading platform ( content.schwab.com )for most of my stock tracking and updating. The technical staff at Schwab provide excellent customer support. I also have a small Ameritrade account and they provide a trading and tracking platform called "Thin or Swim". thinkorswim.com
