Let's say I bought something for 50 bucks and I am reselling it to you. You pay me $50 and you receive $50 worth of this good. But if I charge you $100 for the same thing, you are still getting only $50 worth of this good AND transfer $50 of your wealth to me. Unfortunately too many people started believing that this extra $50 in inflation is net wealth creation. It is not, it is simply transfer of wealth from late to early receivers of money.
