I probably would like him ... you don't ... but you pretend to to get paid. What do philosophy PhD's say about being true to oneself? They say that's for people who don't need money.

I said to the kid, "how do you fuck slut a without becoming a slut yourself"?

Men feel a natural kinship to offspring when they are certain of their parentage. With women it is never a question. Slut vs nonslut is founded in kinship. A slut is a person so promiscuous that the kith and kin of her offspring would be uncertain...like it or not, women own that question of certainty.

It's the human nature of kinship to provide for, protect, nurture, support, and guide those persons you’d identify as kith and kin. When there is no bonding between us and far away people, or people not within our cultural makeup, a tongue click is the best we can muster when we learn of their suffering. Further we make a conscious effort to objectify others by differences in race, custom, dress, creed, etc to justify our indifference. We can wrap a whole alien characterization around some other type of person if we want to. Then we can put an objective label on the entity we are shooting at, which is no longer a who; a Nip, a Gook, Gerry, Cong, rag head, etc is a what not a who... we may as well be shooting ducks off a fence post.

If you want us to care more, you have to cause us to identify with one another more. An author or director gets me to cry in a movie when they get me to identify with a tragic figure, even a fictitious character. I've cried more in movies than I have learning about millions being raped and slaughtered in Africa from the 70's until now. Not proud of that, just being honest.

What happens to a person who suffers emotional loss of kinship? Well sometimes I suppose most just drift in search of community belongingness. And when you feel stripped of your humanity, abandoned by the rest of the world, subject to debilitating humiliation for who you are, what then? Fill in the blank but I believe this is one source of otherwise unexplainable heinous acts.

It is consequential.
