But of course you stated you were a citizen of the world, so presumably you could wipe it with the flag of Kenya or Israel too, right?

The flag is a symbol of the national government of the United states, it's constitutional form of government, citizens rights, individual liberty, and freedom. According to some ... stripes are symbolic of rays of light, stars are symbolic of the highest place in the heavens. The red color in the flag refers to robustness and valor, white color refers to purity and innocence, and the blue color shows vigilance, perseverance, and justice. So would you mind clarifying your issue? From your comment, am I to understand you believe America has been sold out to Banks and Corporations? Corruption in government is a personal and societal shame which cannot be covered by a flag. Most of the time I figure flag burners are attempting to reveal something more than their disrespect for authority, possibly a deeply felt injustice or shame. Sometimes I just think they are jerks dying for attention.
