Been looking at the gold chart closely the past few days and had a scary thought.

Gold has been advancing/consolidating in pretty regular increments since 2000. The consolidation periods have been averaging about 16 months or so. Let's say we hit a peak in July this year, which would make the next upthrust start around... November 2012.

Oh crap, it fits perfectly.
