Sonki, what your source tells you does not matter because your source has no idea of the market's reaction. Neither do I. Having said that, an earnings play on AMAT is a gamble with an upside bias. I normally don't flip stocks the day before or on earnings. For an earnings play, I will leg into it a week or so in advance at a technical entry point. Don't count on AMAT being stuck at 35 because of options.

If you want to scalp a stock for 3-4 points, why don't you jump on a driller instead?? Take care.

Raj Ratnangum is very hot on AMAT, great reader of the techs, although heavily under water but I think he will be right.
