I wish I had a clue was asked same from several people. Aside 6 months is a very short horizon for investing and a lot depends on political will within the US and EU - so all in all it is a gamble. So nothing in >>only publicly traded equity n bonds and derivatives<<< For a 12+ month period I suggested fertile agricultural land in a safe country at a price below EUR 2,00 per HA if it is in Hungary, Romania or Bulgaria. I will even venture to Turkey in certain regions. Greece may offer great opportunities in land purchases for the longer run but with a defined purpose. I would not dismiss RE in great recreation location and those are plenty in Greece. (Similar also in Bulgaria and Turkey southern coast) The have a great market - Russia and the "Stans" over 200 million and rich ME population
