I knew that the U.S. banks were on the hook for CDS exposure to European sovereign default. I also figured that was why Little Timmy was preaching like crazy over in Europe until they told him to shut his pie hole and take care of business at home. What I didn't know was the size of the CDS risk.

HOLY F**K

BC,

This shit is just UFB. Seriously, this is just insane.

Of course we know that 75 trillion is not true exposure, as it is assumed that a certain percentage effectively cancel each other, but still, this is an unacceptable amount of undefined risk essentially shifted right on the US taxpayer via dollar destruction or whatever name you want to give it.

This corrupt enterprise MUST be put out of business and its management prosecuted and locked behind bars.

The most patriotic thing every citizen can do right now for this country is to engage actively in an all-out campaign against BAC with the common goal of wiping this leech off the face of the earth.

Write/call your congressman, post information on facebook and internet forums, go door to door to educate your neighbors, stop doing business with them - anyone can do their small part.

What a shame and insult that this enterprise has "America" in its name. Everything it represents - fraud, corruption, cronyism, unethical behavior, theft of taxpayer money, socialization of risk - is in conflict with the principles that this country was founded upon.
