Much of what they banks could have had on their books with regard to Morgaged Packet loans was indeed gift wrapped and sold abroad. The profits generated from the sale of these pre-pack loans went right to the bottom line and actually allowed the banks to makes huge profits and the Corporate elite who managed these makes huge bonuses. This was world wide fraud.
Yes, many young Mom and Pops out there are struggling with morgages they would have never received if in fact proper dul diligence was employed by the lending institutions. Due diligence was not employed because there existed a venue to sell the loans abroad!
