Unionism is going to comeback with a vengeance. Construction and engineering works is going to suffer.

Unionism will come back because those with jobs will try to get their income protected.

Government workers will defend with nail and claw their income.

Yes, Lazarus, labor is not friend of labor. Those with income do not want others to come and take a piece of what they have.

Marx saw that and called them to unite. But is not likely to happen. This is going to be every man for himself.

I've put many a contractor into bankruptcy - carpenters, roofers, painters, HVAC. Building trade always fluctuates.

By union rules, master craftsmen get first pick of jobs, then journeymen, then apprentices.

If you aren't in a union, that's the breaks.
