Tide, there are plenty of long lurkers/infrequent posters who stand with you waiting to recover large paper losses. Just remember, we'll still be holding and making $$$ on this stock after the newbies have gone on to something else.

Bruce, I salute you and the other truly long Cymer investors. Those of you who believe in this company and were in this stock before the split are the elders of this thread. The fact that you have not sold into the meltdown shows true machismo. A long investor thinks long term and that means more than just a few days or weeks! Keep the posts coming, Gary.

Hang in there Bruce. You're not the only one who bought in heavy pre-split (add me to that camp). CYMI may be a dog right now, but it is a Doberman. Eventually it's going to wake up and come charging - the only thing the naysayers will see is teeth and claws. I suspect that you, like many of the earlier buyers are tired of trying to argue the fundamentals of CYMI. It's not trading on fundamentals, but eventually it will. Then the longer-term holders will start to come back on the thread. I'm hoping that AMAT's announcement is the turning point. At some point here, someone has got to say "Hey, maybe it's not as bad as people are making it out to be. Maybe the analysts don't sit on the right hand of the Father." Hang in there. You're not alone. It's a waiting game right now.
