Ed I would assume the geo ment that the rocks they are in are favourable for the type of deposit that they are looking for. The setting looks right they just need to find the motherlode (if it exists)
If they started hitting unfavourable rocks then they would get really worried because that would mean the geological model they were working on wasnt holding up.
It does take awhile to learn the lingo.
J.P. Campbell "Close but no cigar" is a good analogy. Just having massive sulphides is no quarentee of having a mine of course, it might be all pyrite so if you have sulphides with base metals in them copper nickel etc you are getting even closer. Also you dont necessarily have to have massive sulphides to have base metal mine, it all depends on the overall grade, setting etc
