Channel Check:

I was over at Best Buy this afternoon and their shelves were full of x2 modems but had hardly any zoom or boca or any kflex. I asked the clerk and it turns out in that market (Ft. Wayne Indiana) there is no x2 all of the local isp's support Kflex. Then he went on to explain to me that the ROK rep had been in to give a presentation to the salesmen about the superior qualities of kflex over x2 and assured them that all modems are software upgradeable. I guess I am a bit flustered to see so much x2 product on the shelf and hardly any kflex. They must have had over 100 US Robotics modems there and maybe 2 kflex. that looks prety ugly to me.

Just my 2 cents,
Jeff Sheeran

Not at all. I appreciate the heads up!

That had to be the absolutely worst press release I have ever seen. Not content - the format. I can just imagine the poor secretary sitting there with six executives breathing down her neck arguing about what it should say and rushing to get it filed on the wire before any more damage is done.

I don't think it ever opened for trading, bus some poor slobs with limit orders got screwed by the MM big time.

You're right about the hair trigger - shoot now, ask questions later.
