I know there's an Android app that sets up automatic photo syncing to Picasa. There's at least one iPhone app for that, too. Since 2008.

Not any more. The iCloud works pretty damn good. My pictures automatically appear on all my iCloud-attached computers/devices within a few seconds of taking the picture - without my intervention. It also works the same on cloud documents as I edit them.
