To Steve Harris and mindmeld:

Both of you have been looking only the negatives of Obama. Even when you blame Bernanke, you are blaming Obama. You know that Ben was appointed by GW Bush in Feb 2006 and that the Fed is independent. Obama cannot tell Ben what to do.

The economic ills of the country is so huge that it will take more than one generation to get it back. The damage done by Cheney for 8 years cannot by solved by just 2 1/2 years of any President. Granted that Obama makes several mistakes, but he has made many good moves as well, probably more correct actions than otherwise.

Do you want to change policy every 4 years? Where will we be heading? Continuity guided by a smart person at the top is better than changing policy with 9-9-9 idiotic policy. Yes, than Herman Cain, imposing 9% national sales tax on top of state sales tax, making everything marked up by 20%. What guarantee that the 9% will not go up to 12%. Simple things Cain says, understood by lemmings. Then, there will be the exceptions since many people are suffering from hunger: food is exempted from sales tax, then many people are dying, drugs are exempted, then many cannot buy a house or a car, and the list goes on.

Those who plan to leave the country when Obama is elected better star packing. Yes, you'll be happier albeit not better off living in another country, but the rest of us will be happier as well. There is no question that Obama will be reelected. The GOP candidates are busy fighting amongst themselves that whoever the person chosen as the candidate for the elephant, he/she has no chance to beat Obama, even if Romney wins:
