I am just the messenger here, so don't kill me. But some of us feel the truth is always important. Page 235 in Suskinds book "Confidence Men". Suskind is a dem and his book rings true to me, but each person will have to make that assessment for themselves. Worth the read though. PS and Geithner was the main person protecting the banks (against most of the rest of the economic team and congress) and he is still there! 13 of the top bankers assembled to speak with Obama. They were nervous as Obama could do anything he wanted in this environment. P. 234: CEO's talking about the need for bonuses. Obama: "Be careful how you make those statements, gentlemen.
