does anyone know when earnings for the quarter are to be announced?

I agree and yet disagree. I agree first that Sigma needs this next quarter which will include NOV, DEC, and JAN to be a profitable one. This will hopefully lay the nay sayers to rest and set the ground for further stock price increases. I disagree because DVD isn't going away after the holiday season. Hopefully it will be here for a time to come. Like the record replaced 8-track, the cassette the record, CD- the cassette, DVD will hopefully replace the VHS, tape, CD, and 3.5 diskettes (not bad) I also believe that Sony, Philips, ASE, Diebold, NewCom, and any other contract they sign wouldn't have chosen Sigma if they were not confident Sigma could deliver. ALL IMHO Rudi
