and screw all these gov and union assholes! you are painting with a pretty big brush there, westpacific. i share your opinion of how out-of-whack things have become, really on every level. however, in this country are many many dedicated and hard-working government employees who love this country and would give their lives for it. because some guys play the system and takes every advantage to the detriment of others, does not mean that every one does it. and every time i hear of these situations i try to remind myself that when i look for the reason, i should first check the mirror. people don't participate, assuming someone else "will take care of it." and while you rage at the lifeguard and the union rep, consider the banksters and all their cronies. what the union rep and the lifeguard walk away with will be peanuts compared to what the crooks take from us. as dylan ratigan said, our country is being extracted. in case someone hasn't seen it, it's an epic and excellent rant: youtube.com we've all been very comfortably numb. now, we'll have to wake up.
