The real hypocrisy to me is the same people seem just finenwith the bailouts of the auto companies. The taxpayers got their money back on the bank bailouts, but will never get the GM money back.

I believe in responsibility and self-reliance, so on the surface I agree with you. However, it is important to maintain a flexible stance and not be rigid and doctrinaire in one's thinking, especially if one has a vote in government.
