I think the problem is not with industry executing -- as reserves have grown tremendously and shale has been nothing short of a success (as evidenced by the low NG prices and import reductions, if nothing else) -- as it has been with government permitting the industry to expand and flourish without inordinate, let's call it, restrictions from obstructionists meddling in politics and special causes. At $3.50, I think one would be nuts to be short NG. Don't have to be involved as the price might be low for a while, but not short into winter. JMVHO.
