Okay, you got me going. The 10 top reasons why Michael Hendren (whatever his name is) sold 28,000 shares at 23 7/8: 1. Only 1 officer named "Michael" is allowed to own shares at a time, and Ejabat decided that that Michael would be Ashby. 2. He shorted MSFT after its IPO. 3. He needs cash to build a house next to Bill Gates, as proof that he did not screw up in #2 above. 4. He is being paid, by CPQ/LU/NT/COMS/NTT/WHOMEVER to sell shares to make it look like ASND is going to tank, so that the acquirer can continue to load up its 10% on the cheap. 5. He thinks ASND is headed for a earnings/price (e.p.) ratio of 23. 6. He had placed a limit order to "buy" at 23 7/8, not to "sell," and his broker screwed up. 7. He used touch tone trader to place a buy order, but his finger hit the wrong button. 8. He already has too much money and didn't want to take in whatever extra cash would be generated by a tender offer. 9. He sold the ASND stock so he could load up on Manhattan Bagels, as he had heard that hot "news" was in the offing and he wanted to go "low tech" for a while. [They filed bankruptcy today] 10. He never could figure out what a frame relay was.
