geez, ingot, my entire family lives in the coastal areas of the Northwest US. i try to ignore the fact that fukushima exists...because...what're you gonna do?

There will be a dead zone of at least 12 mi
around Fukushima plant. This is .3% of Japan.
Permanently uninhabitable. Contamination
effects in food are serious in Japan.
Provided nothing else blows up. Forgotten
by media or not, this record scale nuclear
disaster will leave a black hole in Japan,
effects of radioactive contamination will
be felt for some time. Can't fish or grow
rice there, in some places, food must be checked
