Forgive ME! This may seem like little news.
However, just so that you know, and can take note and give me a little credit. I WILL request, and demand if need be, my few thousand certs.
First thing, BEFORE the market opens! I will also 'share' my position as a SI/C$MA subscriber.
Thanks for the information and the opportunity!
Not many come along like this one!

Regarding that negative E-Mail some of you have received concerning the Class V well approval, here's the latest:

The sender of that E Mail purported to have spoken to a bureaucrat in the Utah Division of Environmental Quality who told him that Coconino's EnviroTech well would probably not be approved because there was concern over a fracture that would cause the disposed waste to contaminate the water supply.

I will not offer any opinion herein whether the E mailer's conversation actually occurred or not. However, I have researched this issue and received information from the Company as follows.

No government employee should offer any opinion regarding the likelihood of approval or denial. Period. End of story.

What I can also tell you is this:

The Federal EPA has blessed this project and it is now in the State of Utah's hands.

No complaints from parties who might be affected by the Class V well have been received by Utah's Environmental Quality people. Affected parties are oil well, water well and water rights owners.

The Director of the Division of Environmental Quality has sole authority to approve/deny the request for Class V certification. He may receive input from the Oil and Gas office and the Water Quality office but the Division Director has the final say.

A fracture exists simply because there is a hole there. The state of Utah does want certain assurances that contamination of the water supply will not occur as a result of that hole.

A hearing on the matter is scheduled this Friday.

I cannot state one way or the other whether approval will be granted.

If the person E mailing the purported conversation is telling the truth, that bureaucrat has acted in an improper and prejudicial manner. If the E Mailer lied about the conversation, then appropriate action with his E Mail provider will be undertaken. At this point, no one knows exactly which of these events is the truth.

I hope this has been helpful. Don't get spooked by every negative you hear. We do'nt know the agenda of the person transmitting the negative news.
