And don't forget Libya. We had all the debates we had in the past. I thought then and have seen now for myself that Obama used the US military for the benefit of humankind. He used the superior might of the USAF to obliterate Gaddafi's air force and then told NATO and the Libyans to go and fight for their own independence. I recognize that it is not a total victory yet from the US point of view. Remains to be seen what happens next. But at least the PanAm butcher is gone should provide some closure to some, similar to what Osama's execution did to others. And yes indeed, He took the right decision on Iraq, no matter what his generals are telling him. It is time we have civilians deciding on the broad philosophy on what the military should do and not the generals.
