[ Me Too -- Amazed ]

That WSTL Chart looks .. Yuk ..... I'm Amazed Amati got out from under the Current.

Of course 'it' (WSTL) may look better tonite after I update my data.

Don't you love a Down Moving 50DMA???

Maybe that "$14.8 million break-up" fee will help them.

(continually amazed..)

Steve, we're back to a cup half empty or half full.

<<How many shares do Cioffi and Amati own?>>
I miss the significance of this question. Does it matter?

<<Whose baby is this tech and company anyway?>>
I thought it belonged to the shareholders and that the Board of Directors and Executive Officers have a fiduciary responsibility to same. Correct me if I'm wrong.

<<If shareholders could and DID stop the sale, who would pay the 120 monthly salaries? How long would Amati last?>>
Good point. Its increasing and painfully clear that Amati, with proprietary technology, are good engineers but lousy business people.
I'm amazed that with the recognized future of this technology, they have not been able to get the few million dollars they needed until full deployment. I wonder how many of their 120 employees would have accepted a lower salary or stocks in lieu of salary had it been offered to them?

<<Would you rather wait and take your chances on getting far less to nothing?>>
Yes! Remember three major contracts whose press releases were being worked on...OR were there three major contracts? Is this buyout a way out for mgmt?

<<Don't you think that AMTX held out as long as they COULD, painfully relenting their "baby" as they realized they HAD to?>>
No! Right now I tend to believe they worked out a good deal for themselves, however, I don't have the facts to support that supposition. I do know that WSTL worked out a deal with TXN and AMTX even though AMTX shareholders have yet to vote on the now defunct WSTL/AMTX merger. Interesting to re-read JS's "A Letter from the President" To Our Shareholders. (AMTX website). What a crock!

<<Thisisn't some company being run by outsiders. Is it THEIR fault that reality isn't what many posters here had hoped and presumed?>>
Again yes! The reality is that they do not know how to run a business and are recommending giving away valuable property for a song. What a shame! I'm leaving with a nice profit, but IMHO, pennies on the dollar.

Post #27541/27553 <<And I honestly doubt AMTX will see 30 again.>> <<Steve, I'm saving your post for a future posting.>>
Odds are that you win..but who knows what tomorrow will bring?<VBG>

Continued success,

Bernie
