When did Bush do that. After going and capturing him? We know Gaddafi did since he had the time to prove to the world he did so. Now if the Bush folks are claiming that (could not access the URL you posted), then I am reminded of his "Mission Accomplished" claim.

While in Iraq was a dictator funding and rewarding acts of terrorism killing Israelis, an ally of the United States.

You mean he fought it on Israel's behalf!! Here Obama is already being criticized for not leading the Libyan operations and instead being led by other nations. And you saying that Bush was led by Israel?

Hey, suddenly “leading from behind” is looking pretty good, isn’t it? This instantly infamous phrase, spit like rusty nails out of the mouths of neocons and other foreign-policy bigwigs ever since it appeared in that New Yorker article, may have been an unfortunate locution in this age of instant TV analysis (including some by people who probably couldn’t place Libya on a map). But it described a way of conducting multilateral foreign policy that has achieved electrifying results.
