ray, great point about the heavy oil issue, thanks. It will be interesting to see how this all gets sorted out.

I remember there being a lot of talk about how the Rockies Express pipeline was going to erase the big discount that Rockies gas had been getting vs. Henry Hub. That did happen, but only for a few years or so, after which the discount re-emerged (apparently the result of the Rockies Express filling up). I saw one piece posted by Dennis (can't find it now) which postulated that if only Keystone XL comes to fruition and none of the other ones that are being proposed make it, within 2 years of the Keystone XL pipeline coming online we would be back to the same pricing dynamics we are looking at now.
