Hi again. Nicely put. It's like welcome to investing 90s style. Just be careful about any rebound without good volume (IMHO), because if you're right and I basically agree, then we need more buyers from somewhere to fuel the move back up. Stocks do not go up without volume/buyers. In a crazy business full of much that's unclear and tough to both understand AND apply effectively, this much I've got--volume is necessary to move stocks up.

Maybe, if you and many others are also right about the basic fundamentals and earnings prospects NOT changing, these very same players will be tempted by great bargains and come back for more, which actually might be the best short term scenario because they have such power to move stocks/groups up or down. But I think this may be just wishful thinking... we'll see.

Regards,

TomLF

Alex,

I couldn't agree with you more although I still call it
manipulation when fund and institutional managers target
one sector at the same time to pull their money out.

We're getting a nice bounce up (dead cat??) this morning.

All the best, Allan
