Sam, That's a real tough call. They are pretty close in profitability if we stay with the 200 moving day average through Feb. I'd go with the 27.5's though. If this in fact a depression of the DD group, then market recovery will not aid the price as much as we'd like. I forsee a January kick in price, but who knows what December will be like. Play it safe, or at least as safe as you can be with options. Go with the 27.5's, that's my advice. And I'll put my money where my mouth is. I'll buy Feb 27.5's tomorrow or Friday. We'll take the escalator up together.

I would add the strike to the premium and look for the smallest, subject to some trading volume for liquidity.

Sam, I bought Dec 27.5 calls yesterday for 1 13/16. Sold today for 3 1/4. I usually hold stocks long term, but I am beginning to enjoy this short-term stuff (until next April!).
