Yong, I know the story, I don't know the motivation. I was happier with .9 shares of Westell. Why is a $20 cash buyout, which robs the investor of the potential growth in ADSL/DMT, a better offer? What do they know, that we do not?

Michael

Hello fellow Amati holders,

Could some one please explain this deal to me.

If I understand things correctly, must be sell are shares ourself and
try to get $20 or better, or if we just continue holding will we be guaranteed payment of $20 for are shares by TI at some settlement
date.

I would like to know if I can wait or must I sell soon. Is $20 the most I can expect from this stock.

Finally, I guess a cash offer means no transfer of my Amati shares into TI shares.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank You in advance.
