You do sound like the "do nothing bastards in Congress." You like the guy who hung a sign "Mission Accomplished", flew onto the deck in a bomber jacket and brain farted words like "We will smoke them out from their foxholes" etc. etc. And even better you are with the guys who say that Obama "leads from behind" because he himself did not pick up a rifle and join the special forces in the raid on the compound of Osama etc. When it comes to getting things done, it does not pay to be "honorary members." and merely keep signing things. What people applaud is getting your arse in gear and actually going out and doing things such as Obama has done.

Is Obama Still Weak?

The GOP loves accusing Obama of “leading from behind,” but Michael Tomasky says that’s looking pretty good after Gaddafi’s death.

Hey, suddenly “leading from behind” is looking pretty good, isn’t it? This instantly infamous phrase, spit like rusty nails out of the mouths of neocons and other foreign-policy bigwigs ever since it appeared in that New Yorker article, may have been an unfortunate locution in this age of instant TV analysis (including some by people who probably couldn’t place Libya on a map). But it described a way of conducting multilateral foreign policy that has achieved electrifying results.

<<<Obama had nothing to do with the withdrawal, except being the guy in office at the time. All he did was stall the process as long as he could.>>>

You are very efficient. In two short sentences, you can tell us a lot about what and how you think. Give or take a little bit from here and there, you are telling us that you think:

1. Policywise, and perhaps even in core beliefs, George W. Bush and Barack Obama are for practical purposes, nearly the same.
2. There would have been no differences if we elected a Bush protege, McCain, or any other Republican instead of Obama in 2008.
3. There will be no differences in US foreign policy and overall well being if Obama loses in 2012 and that anyone (more or less) of the Republicans that will be nominated and going on to win the national election.

Try thinking out of the box. The Cracker Jack Box is loaded with sugar. You can get pretty high on sugar. GGGG
