I am looking forward to you posting those real world test results between LTE network speeds and HSPA+ network speeds.

I won't hold my breath waiting for them, though.

" Claiming the iPhone 4S is a 4G phone is bullsh*t"

I agree, but it has the same technology as every other phone that AT&T markets as such 4G (HSPA+ 14/21). Someday, AT&T will have LTE phones, but for now, they market faux-G as 4G. If AT&T had their way, they would sell it as the iPhone 4S 4G.

Claiming the iPhone 4S is a 4G phone is bullsh*t, and I will call you or whomever else makes that false statement on it every time.

Time to give AT&T a piece of your mind. AT&T just slapped a "4G" badge on the iPhone 4S.

I'm pretty sure it's new, because it wasn't there last week. However, they had slipped in a 4G reference in their PR Tuesday that I didn't notice at the time: "AT&T was the first carrier in the world to launch iPhone in 2007 and is the only U.S. carrier to support iPhone 4S with 4G speeds."

FWIW, I generally agree with you that the iPhone 4S is NOT 4G. The truth is, AT&T does't have any phones that any sane person would call legitimate 4G, but since they have been playing fast and loose with the term 4G ever since the dreadful Atrix 4G, they might as well be consistent.

>>Don't worry though rnsmth, fortunately for you, theres no explicit rule against inaccurate and misleading statements of fact here.<<

If there were such a rule, you would have had to ban both Sylly and yourself long ago. Remember when you claimed Apple's market share was only 7% and you supplied a graph of usage share to prove it? Good times.

That was really misleading and inaccurate. But no harm was done. I'm sure only you and Sylly were actually misled. Most of the rest of us were smart enough to spot your error. Which error you, of course, did not acknowledge.
