I hope you are wrong, but I must admit I am still guessing. I had forgotten the cuts to the poor. Hard to see how that was necessary?

On the other hand the right wing is so dangerous. I wonder how Chomsky sees Obama? What a great man he is. Reminds me of Linus Pauling and B Spock in the 60's.

I know there are better eyes than mine.

Sure, that's why he pushed the Affordable Care Act through, and got rid of Don't Ask Don't Tell. And that's why he handled the situation in Libya the way he did, having France and Germany take the lead. That must be why he fought so hard to extend unemployment benefits. Bush would have done all those things exactly the same way.

I'm only scratching the surface. There are lots of other examples.

WR, Obama may not be as liberal as you want him to be, but saying his policies are nearly identical to Bush's is to ignore the many differences between the two.
