Mephisto, I am confident that Christine is not being put off by our discussions. She has the flu right now, but I know that she likes controversy. Once in a while she gets into a funk and has to climb Mt. Shasta and chant her mantra to shake it.

I know that Chtistine would like to see some female input, and so would I.

Mephisto, why would I be angry with you?? It is sweet of you to hang out over here and try to make sense of all of this. When I want to talk about bulbs, or pumpkin recipes, I do that, and when I want to get a really big headache, I read the guys' arguments, which I have been listening to for at least a year-and-a-half now anyway, and so it just all seems like one big dysfunctional family coming and going, and hopefully one of the more muscular men is putting on another log on the Feelings fire now that it is winter in most of the civilized world!!!

As long as the debate is reasonably civil most of the time, I much prefer intellectual discourse of any kind to football games and drinking parties, and most of us are pretty much very old friends and enemies by now, so it feels very comfy to me to have all those rationalists and their foes at this thread. Johnny's thread is a little cold and lonesome with him officially kicked out and everything, but I guess the threadmistress will look the other way if he stops by over here for a little surreptitious visit now and then to keep the home fires burning (and he promises to be on his best behavior).

Not only are all the bulbs planted, but the camellias are beginning to bloom. I planted the most unusual nasturtium seeds in the cracks in our patio--vivid hot pinks, and very fragrant almost white ones for a moonlight garden effect. So I am really excited about the next few weeks in the garden while I wait for them to come up!!!

You'd better plant the rest of those bulbs, Mephisto!!!

I am NOT feeling better, by the way, but I have watched some good videos and had some very long naps this last week. There is no way I have the energy to write very much here, but I will try to make some feeble attempt to make sense. Intellectuality out the window!!! Niquil forever!!!!

>>"Hi Skipper! Guess it was a moment of madness but I felt very sorry for Christine on this male-dominated thread!!!"<<

You mean "in this male dominated world", don't you?
This is how it should be. The Bible tells me so.
