re: NVDA

Is it a bet on its ARM chips?

I don't see moat in the ARM market. Android's programming api is essentially a port of JVM. That completely shields the apps from the details of underlying hardware. e.g. If Samsung suddenly switches to Intel Atom, if I understand correctly, all it existing android apps will still work. It's opposite of the Wintel platform. We saw how Sun demised indirectly caused by its own Java. Java doesn't lock app developers onto its Sparc platform.

Just my 2 cents.
