I agree with that Mary and it is right on the nose as far as I am concerned. Massive education is the only answer.

The problem or rather dilemma though is that we do not have 100 years. Three reasons:

1) We will reach a human singularity within about 35 years.

2) Global Warming will be well past a tipping point in 100 years.

3) Statisticians tell us nuclear war is inevitable if we do nto get rid of nukes.

I could list many other reasons. Acidification of the oceans, over population, worldwide pollution, etc.

So the only answer I can see, is to try an speed up our own cultural evolution and education.
