We should be spending a trillion dollars on a modern green energy infrastructure. If we can spend a trillion dollars on tax cuts for the rich why is that such a big leap in thinking? As you well know, what a trillion dollars would get us is millions of jobs, dramatically reduce our trade deficit (less oil imports), clean up our environment, help pull us out of our depression, dramatically increase tax revenues and prepare us for the future in every way. The only thing limiting us, is our own thinking and the right wing. Which we must fight. Day after day we watch the Laural and Hardy Republican nominee's, yet I just saw Bobby Jindal just won with 66% of the vote in LA!?
