Living on welfare in California not as bad as it sounds at least not back then , but yes it would seem a little out of character that he would deny a daughter when Steve was an orphan himself but like i said those early mariages out of high school turn out bad , am sure he later did regret and did the right thing . Had a syrian father Abdulfattah "John" Jandali which never knew ( who's vice president at Boomtown Hotel Casino in Reno, Nev) ...they never spoke or met and that must have been an emotional hardship . (Always thought Steve looked a little middle eastern , he created quite a bazaar )
