Five Truths about Liberal Class Warfare Ideas:

Five Truths That Sentence America to Ruination
Home - by BigFurHat - October 23, 2011 - 14:00 America/New_York - 27 Comments

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the
wealth out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must
work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government
does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work,
because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other
half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is
going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any
nation!

The initial jobs where created elsewhere. Now they have a profit. They have to decide what to do with it. If you penalize them for bringing it in to the US, then it will be more likely to stay overseas, insuring that the next round of jobs and wealth creation occurs outside the US as well.

What's your view on those who only "keep an office" in tax haven and claim profits made here as income for the corp in the haven...... Some hedge funds do this.....

Just institute a territorial tax system, if the profits are here, tax them. If the profits occur overseas then don't tax them. Activities outside of the US should be none of the IRS's business (except to the extent they are fraudulent efforts to hide income that was really earned here).
