evil? no.
just plain cowards. let them stew in their shame for the rest of their miserable lives.
death of civilization? hardly.

driver evil? dunno yet. did he run the girl over deliberately or was he just a cretin who should not be allowed a drivers license? he did turn himself in, as he should. he shall be punished for sure, not to be saved by any fast talking lawyer, for sure.

presently attention is being diverted from the huge 'we owe it to ourselves' usa debt by teeing up the comparatively minuscule euro debt. such is how i view the tragic story of the little girl tee-ed up in the ft.

evil i know when i see, and it is cheered on by hundreds of millions of 'bystanders' waving flags along with a peace prize from the get go.

end of civilization? not really.

end of pop culture empire? for sure.
