Seems to me, there is a fraction in intel's management represent the "soft side" of intel. Here are a couple of examples:

1.After the cpq's betrayal several years ago, suddenly intel decide to warm up the relationship with cpq. It is like to believe an abusing husband's promise that he will never hit again.

2. Settle the dec's suit without at least 2 year fight. It seems too easy for every one want sue intel in the future.

I am afraid that we can expect that those kind of things will happen in the future. Somehow, I feel that intel is losing some of its hard edge.
